The download package contains an additional esp (SLAdv_GoldWeight.esp).
With this, gold has weight (50 gold has a weight of 1).
I think this works well with the Poverty mechanic.
If you don’t like this, you can disable or delete it.
(This can be uninstalled from a running game without causing problems,
Skyrim will give you a warning but you can ignore it.)
